ICC-ES AC391 – Acceptance Criteria for Continuous Rod Tie-down Runs and Continuous Rod Tie-down Systems Used to Resist Wind Uplift
The purpose of this acceptance criteria is to establish requirements for (a) continuous rod tie-down runs used to resist wind uplift forces, or (b) continuous rod tie-down systems used in wood light-framed construction to resist wind uplift, to be evaluated in an ICC-ES evaluation report under the International Building Code (IBC), and the International Residential Code (IRC).
