IAS AC157 – Accreditation Criteria for Fabricator Inspection Programs for Reinforced and Precast/Prestressed Concrete
Scope
These criteria set forth the requirements for obtaining and maintaining International Accreditation Service, Inc. (IAS), Fabricator Inspection Programs for Reinforced and Precast/Prestressed Concrete accreditation.
These criteria supplement the IAS Rules of Procedure for Accreditation of Fabricator Inspection Programs and specify the minimum requirements for IAS-approved fabricator inspection programs for reinforced and precast/prestressed concrete.
Compliance with these criteria will demonstrate the following qualifications as outlined in Section 1704.2.5.2 of the International Building Code (Section 1704.2.2 of the 2009 and earlier editions), published by the International Code Council.
