AISI S911 – Test Standard for Determining the Flexural Strength of Cold-Formed Steel Hat-Shaped Members
Scope
This standard establishes a test method for determining the nominal flexural strength (resistance) of an open hat-shaped cross-section member subject to negative bending moment.
This standard is permitted to be used to evaluate the nominal flexural strength (resistance) of hat sections with or without a discrete intermediate bracing system based on test results.
