AASHTO M218 – Standard Specification for Steel Sheet, Zinc-Coated (Galvanized), for Corrugated Steel Pipe
Scope
This specification covers steel sheet used in the manufacture of corrugated steel pipe (CSP) for storm sewers, culverts, drains, and similar uses.
The sheet is zinc-coated (galvanized) by the hotdip process, and is produced in two coating weights, 610 g/m2 and 1220 g/m2. Material for this use is furnished in coils, flat in cut lengths, and corrugated in cut lengths.
